I never even post about snapchat on Twitter, so its not like I was posting about selling it or anything.

I never got the update/TOS yesterday/today people are talking about. I'm not stupid. I assure you I didn't get it. I'm not a moron.

Upon contacting them (not knowing this is going on) about why my account wasn't working, snapchat sent me a series of robotic-seeming heartless messages that provided no answers.

The name "NerdieBirdie" can never be used on snapchat again in a name (so they claim) and it goes as far as blocking my device/number from creating new accounts.

I am not sure how I got targeted in the deletion of accounts but be aware they ARE happening and it can happen to you.

There might be an alternative to Snapchat that you can use

The whole thing is sucky.

It sucks for models who have been using Snapchat to make money. It sucks for members who have paid to be added to Snapchat accounts that might now be deactivated.

God forbid one consenting adult send other consenting adults images of their naked body in exchange for money.

I literally just sold snapchat yesterday. I feel like shit. I don't know what to do.

I do not know much about alternatives, but can you mass send pictures through Kik? This is such bullshit. People are literally sending dick and titty pictures for free, but when someone charges then it becomes unacceptable. Buh.

I really hated Kik when I used to use both but I guess beggars can't be choosers now. I found it clunky and hard to maintain with a lot of followers/friends but if I create another account I will charge a lot because all of this is stressful.

Honestly a lot it probably has to do with bank regulations. Paypal won't deal with porn or sex workers at all, and as far as I am aware they will not do anything with gambling either.

Ever since Snapchat introduced Snapcash I figured it would be a timer before Snapchat started cracking down on account like that.

That said, to @NerdieBirdie so sorry to hear that happened to you!

PayPal also bans firearms and tobacco

Yea, pretty much anything that needs regulation, is 18+, or might be deemed even remotely controversial.

A long while ago I played some online game and there was a fake casino in it or something. The site had to disable that aspect of the game for paypal to review that it wasn't actual gambling. Granted that was when paypal was getting off the ground so they had to be more strict I suppose.

That's really weird that they went after Nerdie's account. I wonder if someone reported it to be malicious. I can't imagine that they're going through every single account that sends nudes (which is probably a lot haha).

I have heard about guys being banned from PayPal for trying to use their PayPal debit cards to subscribe to porn sites.

Yeah that's what I was wondering. If you used just your model name and not a secret name it would be pretty easy for anyone to report you just to be malicious and mean, especially since this got so much attention today on twitter even though I'm 99% sure these are not new TOS at all.

It would probably be smart for any models using their normal model name to create a new snapchat account with a super secret name not just any rando can report for kicks.

CyberDust is an awesome app I used instead of snapchat for a while. They actually delete photos and nothing stays anywhere.
BTW Snapchat does not delete your photos and their ToS claims they can use snaps however they want since by using it you give them rights and everything. So basically like a camsite. You use it, they get unconditional rights to your stream or recordings.

Even with a secret name, a risk exists that some disagreeable member that bought your snapchat can later report you.

Didn't you have an issue with Snapcash and Identity Theft? I'm betting that has more to do with it than your actual content. Snapchat is a useful tool for us... but if you use snapcash.... don't be surprised if they hard eye your content more than normal.

Snapcash not working was because my account was deleted. As soon as I was looking into why Snapcash wasn't working, literally 30 seconds later my account was deleted and disappeared.

The identity theft is my real life name and debit card being stolen and used here in Milwaukee. It shouldn't be related at all. I thought my snapcash wasn't working because of that situation, but it turned out to be unrelated, they just happened to have deleted my account literally right as one of my regs was repeatedly trying to send me money.

Snapchat responded and flat out told me it was because of me breaking their rules on adult content. I posed the question to them that literally thousands of people use it for that and are open about it, so why me? And they kept giving me robot generic answers and of course they don't have real support for users. I am looking at it as a blessing in disguise though. Plenty of people would get snapchat and never tip, so it was a way out of my control to get rid of all those people lol.

Sad to say, this Snapchat issue is weakening my resolve when it comes to purchasing SC from models (lifetime or monthly). Is there any adult alternatives? General audience apps are one by one becoming problematic. First Vine. Now, this.

I don't know why more girls don't just use a private/"protected" Twitter account for this sort of thing. I thought about making a 2nd one to use specifically to send out sexy pics to big tippers without sharing them publicly. Then only add people to the allowed followers list that I wanted to see the goodies.

Apparently a lot of people are switching to Cyberdust... It just sucks, almost everyone was using Snapchat, so it made it easy for members to purchase content for an app they already used. If the models all scatter to a variety of different apps, members may have to keep a lot of different accounts until things calm down and people find the best alternatives.

Well because on Twitter you can save a photo very easily while apps like snapchat and cyberdust are interesting exactly because snaps are supposed to disappear. The secrecy is part of it's appeal.
I know it's possible to take screenshots and use third party apps on snapchat, but initially many models sell them because every photo disappears. I know on CyberDust it is impossible to take screenshots on Android devices, the app blocks phone's ability to do that. They might have figured out for iPhones too by now.

One simple method I've seen being used, and liked, was using the cloud storage that many already have. Create a 'monthly' folder. Take a picture, put it in that folder. Create a link sharing the folder and give it to anyone who has paid. Easy enough to delete the shared link at the end of the month, make a new folder, and send out the link to people paying again.

Yeah, I save all of my pics to my club anyway, so if it goes...I guess I'll only upload pics to my club. I'd rather not do a private twitter again. I guess I'll just say if they want to send me something, then they can via my regular twitter dm or whatever. I guess it doesn't affect me too badly, since I basically do lifetime snaps once the member first pays for my club, but I'll be sad to see and interact with the other models I have on mine.

ya'll, I think something more important was missed here.

OK, so I feel very confident that Nerdie was reported by a salty, likely not on her list, person because I am absolutely certain these TOS are not new at all... the only thing new was that during the update someone noticed them because hey hadn't read it before and it spread like wildfire on social media between a bunch of other people who had never seen it before.... likely triggering the vindictive actions of someone who doesn't care for Nerdie. On the tail end of a twitter drama fest and with the username being your exact twitter, it wouldn't have been difficult.
The TOS WERE updated and new additions to the privacy policy went in place that required we agree to update, those actual new things were neither pornography or related to selling access. They were scarier and related to snapchat storing all your snaps and having right's to use your snaps however they want at any time as well as tracking all of your moves and personal information through your phones and cookies and shit. Very face booky type stuff that's not so super awesome.

I could be wrong here but I focused a bunch on the porn and selling TOS well over a year ago, so I know for a fact they were there before and nudes do not equal pornography. I feel to my very core that anyone being banned for violating those terms is being reported by grumps due to the utter explosion of attention it has received on social media.

If you use your normal model name you are going to be a target for trolls. if you have a super secret account and fly under the radar, DO NOT USE SNAPCASH, and avoid tweeting at snapchat support... I doubt you'll have any problems.

I didn't want to say anything originally but yes, after reading some posts in here last night I began to realize/think/believe that it was from someone reporting me. Whether it be a model or her followers. I was involved (lucky me) in some Twitter drama earlier this week where someone posted a private conversation publicly "warning" people of me on Twitter, which I'm sure some people may have taken some sort of action against me because of that. Definitely do not make your snapchat name the same as your twitter handle or mfc name. Hindsight is 20/20. But learn from my error! My snapchat name was literally my twitter name, so anyone could have guessed it. It is unfortunate it went this way but live and learn.

I am sorry this happened to you and I hope you don't mind I went all sherlock, I just didn't want to freak out a bunch of models but at the same time warn them about ways to avoid the trouble.

Using snapcash of course is more likely to draw attention to your account by admins than just using it like anyone else. A high amount of snapcash transactions is not exactly normal for the every day vanilla person.

Two of my regulars basically only tipped through snapcash because it was so simple so this is a big hit for me. I was wondering if you or anything else has any warnings about GoogleWallet transfers. Is there anything I should know about with it? It wouldn't be for selling content, just to let people "gift" me.

Also Sherlocking is totally cool, thats why the internet is there to immortalize us. I didn't name call so I stand by any words I made.

accepting outside payments through any non adult platform is ALWAYS going to be a risk, personally that risk aint worth it for me.

I can't wait for guys to be able to close their eyes and think about giving us money and then it appears in our hands. #technologycantbetoofaraway
