I'm so put aside by the "MFC needs to tell us how it's possible a girl went from 18 to 1 with a 1.2m tip" cries that I'm probably overseeing small details.
It's funny to me because there are girls who never make top 100 even who go "how do these girls get 5000 tokens at once?" and then you multiply that into what the top 5/10 girls can complain about, and you get what is happening in the top 3 right now. "MFC you're shady and unprofessional if you can't tell me how girls are getting 1m token tips!".
It's all just part of the competition. I just think it's nuts for girls who have made millions of tokens from MFC to turn around and try to snark the site that made it possible.
Yeah. I think people just don't realize how those amounts of money are just small change to the really rich. At this level, they are very rare on MFC - maybe 3 or 4. Get a couple in competition and all kinds of fireworks happen.
From MFC's point of view, it's pure gold. 2 rich guys seeing who can throw the most money at MFC.

No doubt that is real. A tip that took her from #8 to #1. So her whale tipper has gone through the extended verification, so likelyhood is LocaLoca will receive another of these huge tips in next 20 minutes to take the top spot for the month.

I think that pretty much describes what Miss MFC is today -- more a tipper competition than a camgirl competition.
It appears that 466500 max limit that most members have can now be raised by quite a huge margin.
jediwabbit a big tipper of CrazyM_ was very open about what he can tip and confirmed he has limits of 93,000 token purchase per day ( via CC ) and a 933,000 token storage which he has been told can be increased.
Obviously guy's like him and Loca's big tipper fill their accounts via wire transfer not credit cards.
So we have our first 3-times in a row in recent years, maybe ever(? maybe @snowwolf87 will do the math again! hehe) and it looks like 2nd place was same for the last 2 months as well.

Nope, never been done before.
There was a period (July - November 2009) of 2 models winning 5 straight months, but neither did 3 in a row.
A fun fact for some who haven't been around MFC as long... the 3 time winner in that time period was also CrazyM_
(under her original studio account/name. The girl in the image is not her, however, as the studio repurposed her very successful account with a new model).

Most definitely. As you can see I was #3 in the Oct 2009 image and I finished with 376,000 tokens.
That's sort of the equivalent of being around rank 50-60 now, I believe. I think it was mid to late 2010 when the very top spot started taking 1m tokens, and I do believe that amount has at least tripled since then, and even top 3-5 require 1m now.
Looks like its been a euro battle for the last couple months. So happy Queen Mary has re-established her winning mojo. Also interesting that Loca and her new record didn't budge the numbers....
To put it into perspective, I'm fairly sure that back then Mary used to have a topic of about 1000 to get naked; now it's about 5000 per item of clothing I think?
I would have guessed that the amounts to win these months have been inflated; I am completely guessing, but think Loca's whale tried to get her number 1 last time, so tried again this time with a monster tip to "secure" it.
Mary's "team" (I don't think it's just one guy, there are several large tippers she has) out paced that.
I'd have thought this month presents an abnorma" token amount - but we can wait and see I guess.
All I will say is that the amounts being tipped now are ridiculous. I'm not saying people shouldn't spend their money on whatever, but to just see a lady you like as #1 on a "porn" site - we're talking money being spent that could, literally, house several homeless families, or feed an village for a year in a poverty stricken region of the world.
It's their money, they can do what they want, but... priorities in life - bloody hell. OBVIOUSLY those individuals may actually give generously, or more generously, to charity already - so... not necessarily a fair statement to make without further details, but I still fail to understand how #1 can be so important compared to plights in the world today.
*edit 3* Should add - not the girls fault that guys tip such volumes - good for them, can help secure their future and possibly empower them to do other things instead of a 9-5 grind in an office/factory/*insert other generic workplace*.

This is the kind of misinformation and bitterness that makes me facepalm so hard.
Any time there is something gossip-worthy happening in the top 20 there seems to be a lot of misinformation and conspiracy theory that gets circulated, it's pretty ridiculous. It's hard for me not to speak up but some people just don't want to accept facts. I don't imagine this tweet will help anyone understand... It's more fun to make up elaborate excuses in your head, I guess.

Possibly, but my money would be on support screwing up. That limit is 10x more than normal daily limit so it is entirely possible that support flagged it wrong. The one time I was involved in a Miss MFC competition where they ended in the top 10, the last few days there was a lot of coordination between top tippers, and everybody was acutely aware of daily limits.
If you are tipping a million tokens with a daily limit of 55,900 that's asking somebody to buy max tokens 18 days in row. That's a pain in the butt, so you are going to ask MFC to raise your limit so you can do it in only 2 or 3 days.
Well just for LOLz I put in a request for MFC to raise my limit. I just gave them my name and address no other info like drivers license or SS. We will see what happens
I get that the rich are different but $80K+ per month (Loca's 1.2M token tip) extrapolated out for the year is close to $1M – that seems like a lot to spend on a camsite even if you're Bill Gates. And Jediwabbit is probably spending more than that.
Maybe they should rename the contest Mr MFC and give out a belt buckle like the rodeo
With these kind of dollars being thrown around I might end up having to find a way to block/ignore everyone in the top 20. Right now its getting that feeling of mistakenly wandering into a Rolls Royce showroom when you were looking for a pickup truck. Once you realize you don't belong, the objective becomes get out before you get thrown out. Of course the downside to blocking everyone on a rank run is that this month I would have missed out on noticing Taylor because Taypril was a lot of fun. And given her rank history from mycamgirl I don't think I would have stumbled into that room on my own.
Lastly, I'm new here but I've poked around in the archive a bit and there's a fair amount of discussion about Miss MFC and whales and what not but I wonder if everyone is happy with the way Miss MFC is working/evolving. It certainly is interesting and goodness knows people love a competition (even if it is a silly one with no rules, no ref and no transparency) but is the current situation where 1 or 2 tippers are able to win it for “their” model a good thing? I mean Leo doesn't care as long as he gets his cut, and the models might care some but having your best payday of the year goes a long way towards soothing any hurt feelings, so the only ones who clearly lose are the members in the room. They're out cold hard cash and just lost to some rich guy which only reminds them that he has more and they have less. That's like an expressway to Disgruntledville. The easy answer is to say that they should know better and to suck it up. But I'm having a hard time imagining that with Kickaz taking a break (or retiring) that the people in her room are feeling too great about things and are just going to roll over to Mary's room and start tip bombing her. And I'll be honest, if going into say June or December I thought it was absolutely impossible for Kati3kat or MJ to be in the mix for their traditional rank run months it would kind of put a damper on things. I've gotten used to them (and others) having a spot on the calender where I tune in and see how they are doing. If its over before it begins then why bother? What's the old Wargames quote: The only way to win is not to play. That can't be good for business in the long run can it?
I honestly never realized how serious so many members took these things. I can understand the models because hey that is more money for them and being at the top guarantees that. And of course the honor/distinction of being #1 or whatever. But, these dudes that are just so angry on Twitter calling it a scam and such, what benefit are they going to get out of this. The guy that Amer quoted on twitter says it makes him not want to buy tokens. So then is he going to outright stop supporting his favorite model because his tokens are limited? If they really want to give the models so much I'm sure the model has other payment options available. Many have manyvids, snapcash, googlewallet, and so forth that allow you to pay them as much as you desire I'm assuming.

Can i set some facts straight here. Jedi doe's not explain himself very well.
The 93k he refers to is the daily limit of tokens he can purchase per account and he has 6 accounts there by giving daily purchase limit of 558k tokens per day.
If you have the finances and wire transfer the money you can purchase up to your token storage limit ( 933k) per account in his case.
MFC have not the bent the rules at all. Big spenders who wire transfer have had the option to increase that 466500 limit for a while now.
The guy in twitter post claiming Shady Stuff, I'd like to know doe's he purchase 1 Million tokens plus per month ? Doubt it
My limit is like everyone else and I've never gone above 20% usage so why would MFC increase on my account ? No reason to.
And yes I verified my details with extra verification when i first joined.
Guess we will wait for the Mafia money laundering claims to surface next !!!
