Are you sure? Looks like an affiliate link to me, and Square does offer Affiliate services.

Think you need to read further, "adult entertainers may raise funds with WePay as long as they follow the following guidelines:" It's easy to "work" around that :p
Well then if it is someone's link, I apologize, but either way gets you the free money. So I'm not sure what the concern is here?

My only concern is I wouldn't use it for camming... since they don't allow adult services. Even if you are the buyer, your account could get flagged too.

Adult entertainment oriented products or services (in any medium, including Internet, telephone or printed material)

I cant see how those guidlines could create any loopholes. They make it very clear that adult content is not allowed. Additionally, as this article shows, WePay aggressively monitors for violations of it's TOS:http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/porn-star-tweets-about-porn-gets-her-medical-fundraiser-suspended

Not sure. I've used the same cam girl for 4 years and she was the one who got me started in using Square and never once has she or I been banned

Well I'm telling you I know three camgirls personally who had square and got their accounts terminated. I could also look up countless threads on multiple camgirl forums on using payment services that have strict "not for adult services* who got their accounts terminated and LOST MONEY.

I just find it so stupid to think it's okay if you haven't gotten caught yet. So anyone thinking you have a good idea and should use Square. No. Don't do it. Don't play Russian Roulette with your money. It is just dumb.

Its also not okay if a model's fans are put at risk of being permanently banned from Square.

Square is a Chase bank service. Chase bank is very anti sex work and is well known for shutting down the accounts of even retired adult performers. Even if you are not using their service for adult transactions, but just happen to be an adult worker... you run a very high risk of losing your money and your account.

The problems with members recommending a service is safe even if it's not adult friendly is that the members are the primary reason why accounts get shut down. Of course it seems safe to you... your side causes most of the issues with the massive amount of people who issue charge backs after the show to scam the model... in turn getting them flagged and shut down as well.

skyprivate.com is a pretty awesome option. You can also have your own member site through adultmembersites.com and have a store front to offer skype on.

Actually, Square is an independent company. Regarding hostility towards adult transactions; PayPal is just the tip of the iceberg. The vast majority of online payment processors ban adult content. And most of the ones that dont ban it specialize in working with industries that Visa and Mastercard consider to be "high risk".

Actually, Square is an independent company.

Square is not a part of Chase, but when you use them, you are using JP Morgan Chase's services.

This Commercial Entity Agreement (this “Agreement”) is provided to all users of the Square, Inc. (“Square”) mobile application, card reader devices, and payments service (collectively, the “Square Service”) for the acceptance of card payments that are “Commercial Entities” as defined by Visa, Inc. and MasterCard International, Inc. (collectively, the “Card Brands”). As such an entity, the seller signing or electronically agreeing to the terms hereof (“Seller” or “you”) is entering into this Agreement with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (the “Member”), and Paymentech, LLC (“Paymentech”), to govern the authorization, conveyance and settlement of Transactions utilizing the Square Service. By entering into this Agreement Seller is fulfilling the Card Brand Rules requiring a direct contractual relationship between the Member and Seller, and Seller is agreeing to comply with Card Brand Rules as they pertain to payments Seller receives through the Square Service. Paymentech shall be a third-party beneficiary of, and may enforce any provisions of, or cease providing card processing services under, the Seller Agreement (“Seller Agreement”).

Well dang, I've had that stuck in my head for years and not sure where it came from now.

Well never mind but my point still stands in general I reckon... so... taco party.

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but Paypal, too, has a long and sordid history of screwing over account holders with arbitrary caprice. Since they've been spun off from eBay (2014) they might have resolved whatever internal bullplop made them act that way, but at least as a customer I am still seeing them act a little bush-league.
