Hello @punker barbie and everybody.

I wanted to share a story about a problem that me and some other models have recently encountered. I used to work for a studio, which went defunct at the end of February, due to some legal trouble concerning its organizers. Some time later I found out that most accounts previously belonging to this studio, including mine, were banned by CB. None of the models had anything to do with the bans, because the bans took place weeks after our last broadcast - in my case, my last broadcast took place over 2 weeks before the ban. We were not able to get to know the immediate reason for the ban, nor challenge it in any way, because we had no way to access the e-mails connected to our accounts.

Weeks has passed, and many models, previously working for the studio, including me, decided to register new, independent accounts. In most cases, the registration went smoothly, but some of us were receiving threats, either on the site, or beyond... In my case, a member wrote to me in PM, that he knows that my previous (studio) account was banned, which means my documents are "flagged", and that if I ban or silence the wrong person, he will report me and that will get me banned permanently... And this indeed happened on my 5th day of broadcast. I kicked a member for being rude, and one hour later my account was banned without giving any explanation from the support. Other models have had similar experience. Now, these models who had their studio accounts banned first, and then were banned on their independent accounts, are no longer able to register new accounts, the site bans us right away, as if we were indeed permanently banned from the platform...

Does that actually mean, that if a studio account gets banned, a model previously registered on this account is no longer able to work on the site? If yes, then it is so unfair for so many reasons... First of all, as I mentioned, none of the models had anything to do with the ban of our studio accounts. Some of these banned accounts were not in use for weeks, months or even years, prior to the ban! Some girls have worked for the studio for years, some for a week or less.. Some were working at the studio, and some, like me, were working remotely, from home. I don't even live in the same city where the studio is located... But for some reason the site decided to throw everybody in one bag, and ban all the accounts... I can understand that if a studio goes defunct CB may want to remove the accounts connected to the studio from their platform, but why should it be solved by banning and "flagging" individual models? We are we held responsible, and punished for other people's sins? Studio models have very limited influence over their accounts. We don't do any setting, we don't connect our e-mails, or payment methods. Studio is often swapping models between accounts, re-use old accounts by registering new models on them and do a lot of things with our accounts, that we have no control of. All that we can control is the quality of our stream, and ensuring that while we're on cam, we work according to all the site rules, and we were doing just that. All the other problems with studio do not concern us, and are not our fault...

Sorry for the length of this letter, but I am really depressed by this situation, and I hope that someone will help me and my friends to solve this problem...

My studio account's name was : penelopa77
my independent model account which was banned later was : yvaine_
the nr of ticket with case concerning this account is 17325040 (I can't know the one connected to penelopa77 because I don't have access to the e-mail connected with this account)

Police shutdown is a little different than "defunct". If police contact the site claiming illegal activities you can't argue about it. Maybe you could try to get a judge to clear your name, but I'm guessing it's unlikely

Oh... so I write an entire post about how I think it's unfair to blame people for other people's sins, and you answer me by doing exactly that... Why would I need a judge to clear my name? Clear my name of what? Neither me, nor any of the models who worked for the studio were accused of doing anything illegal. I don't see a reason why would police contact the site claiming our illegal activity, if none of us were accused of it. So this could not have happened. What is possible that happened, is that CB might have banned the main studio account, and the model accounts were banned because they were attached to it as a part of the affiliate program.. but If so, then we're only collateral damage, and there is no reason to flag us for this...

Kind of depends what the studio is being accused of, the models could also have been breaking the law, but the government chose to only prosecute the organizers

Judge? Girls were taken to the court? Doesn't look like it. As far as I understand all studios in Russia are illegal but CB allows them and basically promotes their existence and thus their illegal activity. But when studio gets raided by police CB can make surprised eyes.

Coulda shoulda. If Russian government doesn't have any claims against models then CB shouldn't either.

Did you know that producing and selling porn is illegal in Russia? But this is what CB helps models to do, sell nudity for $$$. Maybe CB should also ban itself then, since Russian police would gladly raid them too.

So the government chose to prosecute the organizers, but you chose to prosecute the models. That's very noble of you. 🤦‍♂️

If a studio got busted, and models were released without being accused of anything illegal, doesn't it prove their innocence above anything else? I mean, they were actually caught in the act, but were not given any charges. What better proof of their innocence do you need? In fact, they should be the only ones allowed to continue broadcasting on CB above all doubt lol.

The legal status of pornography in Russia is unclear enough, that we shouldn't be stating that so categorically. I will only quote Wikipedia, which might always be wrong, but:

The law criminalizes only the 'illegal' production and selling of pornography (which implies that it sometimes can be legal), but two circumstances make enforcement of the law difficult: (1) the lack of a legal definition of pornography, and (2) no law defining when production or selling is permitted.

I was also associated with this studio. I left the studio a long time ago and worked for myself. everything was fine, but a year later, after this studio was closed, my account was also blocked. and studio account and new. I have been writing in support for 2 months now and have not learned an answer. as if my mail is on their blacklist. if @punker barbie answers - kick me lol. my account is bella_hadied. my request number is 17395143

I "knew" 2 of the girls from that studio, they started up new accounts camming from home about 3-4 weeks ago. 1 of them don't show face anymore the other girl don't care. But so far seems like their account is going good. I'm not really gonna speak to if it's fair or not what is happening to OP. But for sure sucks and wish u luck and hope it gets sorted
