Neon Joe, Werewolf Hunter. Boy is it stupid but man is it hilarious.

I finally decided to watch Game of Thrones. I don't know what took me so long.
I'm about to finish watching season 5 now.

I hope you're enjoying it! you know, enjoying it in the only way anyone can enjoy Game of Thrones, with intense masochism.

coincidentally the last thing I watched was a season 1 episode! it's still my go-to feel good to see all the Starks alive and (somewhat) happy

Was watching a documentary on high class call girls...what got my attention was the pay rate for the spender was similar to that of pvt time on a cam site, but in this case the escort took the full percentage.

I'm currently watching Lexx again. I have a particular love for oddball space operas, especially if they have a European flavor to them, and Lexx fits that bill better than anything else. I especially love the first season. I should do some Zev fanart.

Finally finished up Season 4.2 of Vikings! It was probably my favorite season out of all of them, actually. There's always ONE thing in every season that makes me rage over its silliness, but this season, there was nothing, and it was satisfying on a karmic level, man. And as always, the visuals are beautiful, the music is exquisite, the costumes are superb!
I need to get back to watching this. I made it through the first three or four shows of season one before all hell came crashing down on me. On my watch list next. Will take me about six months to get through it like it has for other shows...

which one was this?

Finally finished series 4 of Sherlock today...sooo good. Thinking of watching the new Castlevania show next, and then maybe Broadchurch or Penny Dreadful.

I just finished Deathnote. I had heard such good things about it from friends, but I finally finished it, and it is now one of my favorites. I haven't had a story get to me like that in a while. I am super excited about the movie coming out on Netflix!!

Just watched a Netflix movie called Message from the King. Pretty good drama. Classic revenge tale after the main character finds his sister murdered. But well done.

I'm in between apartments and I just started watching The Defenders, however something about the new Marvel Netflix collaboration doesn't feel right. I can't quite point it out, and I'm still giving it a chance.
Something about the naive Iron Fist, doesn't add up with the dark character study of Daredevil, or the smart Spike Lee oriented Luke Cage. Maybe they were just too fast and trigger happy to release it as a part of their huge Marvel cash monster? I'd appreciate additional reviews of course :)

It's funny how the movies have practically zero acknowledgement of the television shows in spite of (supposedly) sharing the same universe. You'd think the TV shows would draw more interest from movie-goers if the films gave some modicum of acknowledgement, almost as if it's like product-placing its own products in the films. From what i understand though, the production from the movie side and television side are rather separated in terms of vision despite all under the Marvel Universe umbrella.

I watched it over the weekend and I thought it was pretty good. I really liked the fact they dropped it to only 8 episodes instead of the usual 13 each individual series had. This is really a case where less is definitely so much more and it didn't suffer from the terrible boring filler episodes every other one had. The other series have all started off great then really dragged from around episodes 7-11 before ramping back up and ending strongly. By cutting the filler the Defenders kept up the good pacing and it felt exciting the entire way through.

I agree though that the Iron Fist totally sucks. His standalone series sucked and he is the worst character in the Defenders too. He has almost no likeable qualities as a character and seems completely shallow, one dimensional and idiotic when compared to the other characters which have a lot of depth. I hope they ditch him and maybe get another hero in if they decide to make a season 2.

Megan Leavey

Based on the true life story of a young Marine corporal whose unique discipline and bond with her military combat dog saved many lives during their deployment in Iraq.

Pretty good movie
