For Viewshare videos? There is a tiny asterix in my model earnings underneath the whole earnings box, which says this.


I would love not to have to take it too seriously. Tiny asterix and small print make me nervous.

Huh I’ve never noticed that. Mine has always just been what it was, I’ve never seen mine fluctuate and if they did, it wasn’t enough to notice I guess lol.

Viewshare pays out a monthly rate per thousand views on your content. The rate is based on the program's performance on that particular month on a whole. A percentage of the revenue of Premium is paid out to all the videos in Viewshare and each video gets a piece of the revenue based on the amount of views.

Subscriptions can be canceled, fraudulent, extra. All of which could remove money from the payout pot.
If subscribers watch lots of videos, then the money has to be spread out more thinly between videos.

Thanks, I get it. Just wondering what models experiences with this have been. i.e. has it varied widely, or just a little? I would define widely as $50 or more. I have over 100 vids on viewshare, and this is my first month. Just wondering roughly what people's experiences have been, as I prepare my budget for January, and also as I decide if I want to upload very many more to viewshare. Not getting final numbers for a few weeks is OK, but it does make my budgeting a little more challenging, hence my asking.

I always believe persistence pays off... I totally already understand why they vary, and that there is no way of knowing for sure. Like I mentioned (in original post above your response to Jolene), just looking for general input, from those who have more experience getting paid from the site for viewshare. I am sorry if I did not word my original posting clearly enough, or elaborate enough to make it clear what I was trying to find out. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but I already read all of pornhubs info, before asking others to take the time...

I gave it some thought, and I think I worded my original question wrong. I should have asked about Viewshare on Modelhub (MH). As far as I am understanding it, Adshare is Pornhub (PH), and Viewshare is Modelhub (MH). My apologies to cause confusion. I think it sounded like I was saying Adshare numbers are not final, when as far as I know, they are. I don't want people to stress out, thinking that they are not. It's Viewshare that can fluctuate. If anyone is interested, I can provide my Viewshare numbers for the end of the month, and then 2 weeks later when it is finalized. There may not be many people participating in Viewshare, because it does seem like it could be risky, unless it's just older content, the model is sharing on there. Ok...phew...I hope that I am not confusing the F*** out of people.

If anyone else is considering Viewshare, I can let you know how my 100 plus older clips do, and how much they make me for December, so you can make a more informed choice. I totally owe it to this thread, because this is where I got a lot of info., to make my choice about PH and MH in the 1st place. Viewshare might totally be worth it, as far as making side income off, of retired clips.

What I meant was when you said viewshare might be risky, were you comparing it to the potential revenue made from adshare, or the revenue you would make just selling videos without viewshare

Oh Gotcha, no I wasn't. I meant the potential that people might get confused and stop buying them from clipsites, if they are on a viewshare program with such a low monthly membership. And thereby screw myself over on sites like Manyvids, Iwantclips and Clips4sale. So I just put my older ones on Viewshare, but it still makes me a bit nervous, until I get some earnings stats under my belt. Because 1/3rd to 1/2 my monthly income comes from clipsites.

It looks like my estimate went up by $30, if anyone is interested. At end of December I had 120 vids up for sale on modelhub, but also viewshare/ premium. It showed that those earned $233. Then it is now showing $268. Keep in mind I have been making a ton of clips for a long time, and I have literally thousands on external hard drives saved. So sparing a few hundred, older ones (or not quite perfect, to my liking, newer ones) for a low priced viewshare program, is not something which is necessarily too risky a move, for me. My twitter following has also been jumping up dramatically, since I linked it to my pornhub (lol, you know, incase anyone is interested in twitter following talk today )

Is this about the time to be expecting my first check in the mail? Anyone got theirs yet this month? I live in a big city, and our mail is often gone through, and stolen by meth heads, so I'm a bit nervous.

Minimum for ACH/direct deposit is $100. Payouts are processed the third Monday and sent out the third Tuesday of every month.

I just had the strangest thing happen - got an email saying that a check had been returned as undeliverable (which is plausible, I guess) but when I went to the model dashboard to see what was up the number portion of my address had been transposed (like, 15 instead of 51). I know for an absolute fact that I'm the only one with access to the account AND that I haven't changed my address since I started receiving checks.

Wtf could've changed the address on file without my input? Has this happened to anyone else?

In my experience, I just email them and they're always very polite. I have even asked for transfer of funds and deletion in one fell swoop and they did it. Takes a day or two maybe.

It took them about 2 -3 days to transfer them over, but the earnings on them didn't show up fully, for me, for several weeks. At one point I messaged them again about that, and they did some kind of earning reset on my account, which remedied the problem.

@EliMarie717 @Mira_xo thanks! I did the email with the links I want transferred to my name. One is even watermarked but the other is one before I was smart enough to do it. Same angle, same type of video. I just got a completely blank email back from their support so I’ll give them a day and respond if I don’t hear anything.

Sounds like an automated ticked response. Did it have a copy of your message inside it? If you get no response by Tuesday-Wednesday I would message them again.

Yea, that sounds automated. I often get the same thing too. Usually for me it takes them about 48 hours after that blank message to respond. When in doubt, I start messaging their help twitter too!

"blank" ? what do you mean ? that sounds lightly strange and uncommon : )
Did you try to select all, copy and past in another editor... ?
(maybe written in white on white, or some attachments deleted/filetred...)

I would answer directly to report that this "blank" mail has an issue

I switched from paper check my first month, to ACH. It just went into my account today. Last month my first payment ever (which was check) was delivered the 21st. So this is awesome!! "The copyright owner’s name will be published on Pornhub in place of the disabled content. This will become part of the public record of your request, along with your description of the work(s) allegedly infringed. All the information provided in this DMCA Takedown Form (including your personal information) are part of the full takedown notice and may be forwarded to the uploader of the allegedly infringing content. By submitting this form you consent to having your information revealed in this way."

I don't know if I just missed this the last time I got a lot of stuff taken down or what, but isn't this basically saying that if we put in our legal info, which is required as part of the DMCA, we can get outed like this?

Don't use the DMCA form. Once your page is verified, you can just email the links of the vids you want removed to model support.

Or, once you have them moved to your account you can just delete them yourself. So I'd say it's worth having them moved to your account, collect any money, then delete them.
