but if you been in this industry over 10 plus years and do more than camming
You see, I do camming, phone sex, sugaring, virtual escorting, texting, and other things in this industry. I will never provide a deep emotional bond to customers even if I am in here for 20 or even 50 years. I am close to my 20 year mark in this industry
We get it, you've been in the adult industry for a long time. You take every opportunity to remind us of this and it's gotten to the point it almost sounds like you think you're better than the rest of us because of it. Hence the facepalm.

But this thread is about camming.
Wrong, that all of us should be catering to the emotional as sex workers in the near future either.
She's speaking specifically of camming, not all the other aspects of sex work that you are involved in. You've stated in many posts now that you don't think emotion should be involved, but you might have to step back for a moment and consider that @AwesomeKate could be very right in her post, in that camming viewers would most likely always take sexual gratification WITH emotional stimulation over just the sexual part.

I am non-nude cam domme and I am not GFE cam model.

I have always wondered why you don't get verified for Models Only if you truly are a cam model... you do seem to spend a lot of time on ACF...?

I think there's a difference between a healthy connection someone feels for a model and one that starts to become overly involved.

Like when members start to have unrequited feelings and stress the model about it. Or the flip side, getting stringed along. And all the other kind of things that happen in between.

Yes, there's thousands of models and plenty of nice T&A to choose from. But it takes a little more than that in the camming world for people to keep coming back. Even a girl who has a lovely exterior with an interesting and fun personality can be a turn off depending on the specific connection between her and her clients.

But sometimes things just happen and that's life.

I am a cam model and I do not feel that I need to be verified to provide it. I spend a lot of time on different forums and it is not that serious. I am on Stripperweb and a lot of other ones.

I have my opinion and you have yours. I have a certain way of doing things and you have a certain way of doing things. So, I believe in non-emotional attachments as cam model and I was talking about my experiences as cam model. I am a certain type of sex worker and I will not back down from that. I have mentioned the way I do things on several different forums including stripperweb and wecamgirls. So, I will not change my mind because anyone's suggestion.

No one wants you to change your mind, but it's just plain rude to tell someone that THEIR (well-formed, forged in the fire) opinion is wrong, especially to then turn around and demand that we acknowledge that your opinion is right. Neither is the end all, be all of what is right. They are different opinions, different ways of running the business. It's cool to disagree, but @AwesomeKate definitely has plenty of insight to offer to the conversation. We can all contribute, even if we don't agree.

Here's my little opinion, hers holds more weight, as a verified successful performer.

Yeah, no offense, but I'm going to always value the opinion of a verified performer more than anyone else's.

End of story

lol

Here's my little opinion, hers holds more weight, as a verified successful performer.

The opinion of a camgirl that has been around for years>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Opinion of person that I will continue to assume is a dude pretending to be a woman that rambles about dark lords or whatever it is all the time. End of story, lol.

@DonaDiabla sort of what I was getting at. My friend was mentioning guys used to spend better just for shows and company. would tip offline and not give constant reminder "hey I tipped you offline, or I did that for you." Would just sit, have a drink and let the girl be herself without all of the emotional attachment.

She mentioned now it's not just about company but so many of these guys talk about love and marriage and if you don't play along then their money goes away. or some tip maybe 1000 and think you owe them the world or something. like it's no longer just at face value, to be appreciated as a woman and that men are becoming more possessive or just too clingy. demanding. things like that.

Hmm. for my own reasons I stopped getting shows from someone and just go to enjoy her company. let the girl talk with whatever she feels comfortable and just listen. GFE in a way, but without the romance.

I think guys usually talk about themselves to no end, so when she gets the chance she's actually pretty chatty. Even she felt a little bad lol, "sorry I talk so much, next time I let you do the talking." I said, nah it's okay. I enjoy your company, I like listening. It's a shame more people can't just enjoy your company and let you be you.

Happy Birthday Phoenix!!! :D :fans :yay

Being a member of 10 different forums is not a credential. Anyone can create an account on Stripperweb. As long as you aren't verified on this forum as a cam model your opinion won't be very valued by the models. You could be a 90 year old half crazed grandpa typing opinions from his mental institution's internet room for all we know.

Instead of doing something to actually negate what we're saying, you're just gonna bad troll attempt everyone who has valid points? Ok.

Unless Ambercutie is willing to take a SecondLife avatar holding an ACF sign as valid proof for M.O access, I don't see what "she" can do.

Deep emotional connections between customers and sex workers have never led to anything good for no one

This is just untrue. Many people have connected in this industry, ended up married and even have kids because of their "Deep emotional connections." Saying it never led to anything good for anyone is not speaking for yourself, it's a mass assumption you are making for everyone, and it's incorrect. That's just a fact.

So I mostly am on the guy side and am primarily on cb....but I would say that it's pretty consistent with what you're saying. But in my experience it's the models pushing it in that direction. Now on the guy side there are three games going...Ohmibod or something like it, Selling yourself as a master, Or one model named Romeo who runs a social room.
Now in either of the first two cases if you tip any amount or with regularity you get pulled out of chat into pms. Once your in pm it's a torrent of "personal" information and an exchange of info, usually skype sometimes whatsapp, very occasionally twitter as a bridge to one of the first two.
Then it's off to the races, bfe all the way and very intense. tons of pictures, life talk, "deep" connections. insistances that the relationship has nothing to do with money coupled with requests for money lol.
It's extremely rare on the guy side to encounter a model who goes very long before this starts. as a result when you surf rooms now (unless its romeos) there is a dude typing furiously and noooothing happening in the room chat at all. I understand you may say "ah but what about the other sites he's on" but you'd see the same thing. Also no one stays around long enough to create any kind of room vibe or sense of community cause they get shifted off to whatsapp or skype.
I'm not saying a model and a member can't ever develop something real. I'm just saying the real money seems to be in playing that narrative for cash.
If nothing else this trains members in what to expect.

DonaDiabla is the real deal, you guys. She really helped me out last week with some industry questions that I had, and she's always been helpful to other ladies in the industry. But I don't expect you to take my word for it. After all, I'm not a verified model on here either (I used to be when I had a different account and went by a different name on here before), so for all you know I could be a "90-year old half-crazed grandpa." Lmao...

Also, if a cam model doesn't wish to get verified for the Models Only section on here, that's her prerogative. :)

Not to get sucked into this whole thing, but just as a casual reader, I enjoy considering the perspective @DonaDiabla offers. Not to defend her(?) or whatever she said in any way.

Also, the thought of being able to get in this business when I am a 90 year old grandpa in a mental institution gives me hope for the future.
