Seems just about every model now has a Hitachi.

Does frequent vibrator use diminish your normal ability to climax with or without your partner?

Do they desensitize you in any way with heavy use?

Lastly, how does the cordless Hitachi compare to the plug-in version?

I've been vibrating the hell out of my clit for years and years now, hasn't affected my ability to cum in any other way. I don't feel my clit has been desensitized overall.

Using the Hitachi frequently leaves me feeling a little bruised. This is why I can only use it once in a while for my cam shows. The size and weight of the head is a bit more overwhelming for that sensitive area than smaller vibrators. I mean, it's not made for that area after all. I think I've had mine now for a couple years and no problems with desensitization. I can cum easily with just my fingers or during sex. I'd imagine you'd have to be using that thing everyday for weeks on end for that effect. I could be wrong.

My 'Hitachi' is a knock off called 'Adam and Eve Magic Massager', not sure if its inferior to the original brand in anyway but it does perform some magic. It's the plug-in variety.

I just ordered some toys yesterday and saw a bunch of other cordless magic wants, some of which had great reviews. But from what I read of these reviews, the Hitachi is still more powerful than these knock offs. I bet the plug in knock offs are more comparable to the Hitachi. In the end I did wind up ordering the original Hitachi, because otherwise, my clit would always be left wondering....

As for virbrations causing a woman to lose sensations down there, I think I heard that once on TV or something but I have been using vibrators since me and my best friend discovered them a lonnnng time ago and have been using them ever since! I can see how trigger fingers could be harmed, but I think it's a completely different problem if you're comparing it to a clit being harmed. All the blood vessels that get stained pulling the trigger on a drill and such is different from putting a vibrator on your clit.

The majority of the reviews I've seen for the cordless Hitachi wand versions are NOT favorable. The re-chargeable ones last 15 minutes max and like with all re-chargeables...they lose power over time. The battery operated ones rely on 4 AA batteries which can't be anywhere near what 110v AC can do.

I've had my Hitachi for nearly 5 years now. Fucking amazing. My arms, and wrists get sore from using it though, so I have to take time off from it. I just found the Hitachi pillow holder thingy- which might help with the pain I get sometimes in my wrists/arms. But why the heck is it so expensive?!
