Hi everyone!
💕

I’ve noticed that many models use social media really well — not necessarily posting a ton, but posting the right kind of things to attract attention, build a brand, and guide followers toward their cam shows.

I’m curious how you all approach this, especially since social media can feel overwhelming.

Some questions if you’re open to sharing:

What type of posts work best to create connection without giving too much away?

Do you focus on aesthetics, teasers, personality, or a mix?

Do you see a difference in your cam traffic when you stay consistent?

How do you avoid spending endless hours on social platforms?

It would be great to hear tips, routines, or anything that helped you find a balance.

I think a lot of us could benefit from shared experiences.

I agree with Martis last post. Sorry Dan didn't realize you were a model too who actually had experience working with these people from the models perspective. Good to know.

ETA; I meant the long post Marti made.

It's so frustrating that so many workers in these companies either straight up lie, or don't even know how the company they work for operates. I made a point of always knowing how everything worked, when I worked in service jobs. Then people complain AI are replacing them ... Im sorry but in some cases, that's really not a bad thing.

I had a C4S rep give me completely inaccurate info the other day too. Spent hours trying to get simple info they should have known from a VRBO rep. Not sure I feel like AI replacing some people really is a negative thing anymore. Especially when so many people spread misinformation, and they are supposed to be the authority on it. Kind of sick of this.

I mean it's not impossible to make that amount. Studios here do the same thing, if a girl in the studio is making $50k a month then the studio advertises what you can make is $50k a month when the average is more like $1k a month, like its possible but only a very small % of people will reach it, so there proberly are a handful of Brazilian models on the site that make that amount but they would not be the average. If sites and studios advertised the average a model earns then no one would sign up 😂

So while there's a lot of things I would ding SM on that wouldnt really be one because it's just common practice to always show the highest rather than the average. Companies do this with sales too "up to 95% off" and they have 1 item they have never managed to sell for 95% off and everything else is 5% off, the 95% off is marketed to get people in the door.
I work on token sites and make more than what SM claims I can make there, giving chatgpt my metrics it says I perform better than 150–250% of Latam's market. I don't believe it, they send latam models no traffic and I do understand half of the reasons behind it... USA laws getting harder for models but why would we work there? They clearly want the Brazilian porn share of the market but underpaying and sending us no traffic and telling us to only speak in portuguese ain't gonna do it. They want us to bring the traffic and pay less 🤷‍♂️

The phrase "get good" comes to mind. Like AI can be wildly inconsistent unless it has a very specific task (it's why VideoRankPro outputs are generally good because it's designed to do 1 very specific thing, but even then there is AI variance in the quality). So if something that gives correct information 50% of the time is replacing you, AI is not the problem 😂

Same experience here. I do believe that maybe that is not the case for all models on all sites though. But with streamate being pretty much my main and only stream site, that is the experience that I have had also. I think it might be different for token sites. Because I do believe them, when some models claim they get business directly from social media.
