Hi all, I've been on MFC for a grand total of 2 weeks but in my time on the site I've had a few strange requests pertaining to my race. Examples include: people wanting me to act out strange slavery-inspired things, or people that want me to like bash my race for their pleasure, or one dude had a strange request where I berate him for being white and tell him I prefer black men while being submissive to a black man (idk how he really wanted me to do this bc you can't have men on camera on MFC so?). Lastly, a couple of times people have come into my room calling me a "nigger", I just banned them but I have several questions for you guys:

Has anyone else noticed/experienced racially-based requests like these?
How do I handle them when I think they are particularly hurtful/offensive?
Is there a rule about equality/harassment on MFC?
Does this happen on other sites as well (if you have experience with other sites?)

I just want to know how common this is so I can more adequately gauge how often I'll have to put up with this sort of uncomfortable thing?

@samira Ugh, I'm sorry you had such a bad time with this. If it were me, I'd probably just put them on ban/ignore when you aren't sure if they want a show or just want to be rude. If they say anything that seems like it breaks that MFC rule, I'd definitely send something to support with a screencap.

Here's the member rules wiki for MFC
In it has the rule that a member may not use abusive, inflammatory, or racist language.

Sadly, assholes get a backbone when they feel anonymous.

On the unfortunate flip side of that, I'm not sure how the site is about role playing "racial fetishes." I'm not at all supportive of fetishes that demean races, but unfortunately it is considered a fetish, and they may let it slide.

*hugs*

Just a regular user, but I suggest that no matter how common it is, you should have to put up with this sort of uncomfortable thing zero (0) times. Block, ignore, do whatever you have to do. As soon as someone flashes N for any reason, boom. No second chances. Is my suggestion.

If people are just curious if you would do any sort of race bashing (not sure why someone would ask you that really) I would just put in my description "I will not under any circumstances act out any slavery role play, or anything racist." Most people won't read it anyway, but at least you have weeded out 1 or 2 people. And just tell them no. And no. And no. If they don't get the hint block them. I think every girl has something different that stands out about us, my own example is my "no way you could be legal" face. You will get asked to do these things most likely every day, maybe a lot less when you gain a lot of regulars. You just gotta keep saying no. As for the immediate calling you names just block them. They know what they're doing wrong so they don't need a warning. You just do your thing and if it helps find humor in how sad it is that they feel the need to insult you anonymously on the internet.

As people have already stated banning is the best option when someone is a dick.

As far as the race fetish thing, I have seen a few gals who do "race fetish things" not so much the slavery roleplay (wtf dudes?!) but more so the my race is superior thing. I don't think it's that popular, but it is certainly something I have seen more than a few times on clip making sites.

In general I feel like new gals get a lot of the weird or uncomfortable stuff right up front, as you put people on forever ban hopefully you don't have to deal with it as much. I remember when I first started I got a ton of requests that made me uncomfortable, those dudes still on forever ban and those requests come less often. Personally, I also found when I first started I had more people trolling and being rude little potatoes. Less potatoes now, but it's still the internet so there is always going to be some low self esteemed potato face insulting someone in effort to make their day better or get a rise. Some guys also get off on the attention, so keep responses minimal until they are out in case theyre getting off on you berating them.
Good luck!
Also. You're pretty.

In addition to banning them I'd report any particular offensive asshole to MFC. Just copy and paste the guys chat and send an email to MFC support. I'd be curious to see how MFC handles it, hopefully they ban the guy.

Ugh I'm so sorry about this ! One of my biggest pet peeves (I hate it so much pet peeve isn't even the right term) is racism. I would tell MFC immediately what happened, & in the future, if anyone asks you to do anything racially insensitive, or DOES anything insensitive to you, tell em the fuck off! It's offensive & dangerous behavior, especially when they use the n-word. After that, ban em! Those peope are not worth having around, & personally,I wouldn't even want their money!

Thank you everyone! Yeah with all the requests I got right away I was like "wow I hope this is not the norm", it was just really bizarre. I've put up with racism and ignorance my whole life so it's nothing new to me, but yeah all I've been doing is just banning people. I wrote on my profile that using any racial slurs will get people immediately banned, hopefully it helps!

I think all the race-relied requests are pretty normal. Race-based domination is also OK. Why do you think those people are racists? And calling someone "nigger" isn't worse than calling someone a whore. It's just everyone tries to find racism everywhere, but I think there shouldn't be any rules when it comes to sex. If you don't like it, just tell you won't do it, but why try find something more than just usual prev stuff in it?

HI hello yes this is totally my thread!

I'm a bit of everything and while I mostly find members either don't mention anything or are respectful in asking about my heritage and stuff, occasionally I get race fetish types or people who are just kinda rude...

"I just wanna watch a hot exotic girl get off"
"Mmmmm this big white cock loves some black teen pussy"
"You looked Asian in your profile pic but now you look black wtf"

I haven't even had stuff all that bad compared to some things I've heard from other non-white camgirls...

Essentially, I blame it on porn sites. Feet are a fetish; smoking is a fetish; and apparently so is being 'ebony/latina/Asian' (also have you noticed how black girls aren't even referred to as black? "Ebony"). As well as the usual degrading comments we get from some members who have no respect for women or sex workers, we get the (sometimes not-so-) casual racism too. Those stereotypes are perpetuated on the sites and then the members feel like it's okay to bring them to our rooms. I get members telling me what race I should identify as and what I should advertise myself as.

The way I see it - it's not a whole lot different to real life; they're just a little more honest about it on MFC. But the great thing about MFC is being able to ban and block people :3 If anyone brings any slurs to my room - instant lifetime ban. If anyone's kind of pushing it, I will let them know that I don't take well to having my genes fetishized or being told by someone else who I am, and if they refuse to back off they get banned too. I have had some occasions where someone said something and I told them I didn't like it then they apologised and it was all good, so I don't like to ban everyone, but essentially I just don't bother with it. Just don't be afraid to say what you won't put up with and ban anyone who breaks those rules.

People who fetishize races are racist because generally fetishization is rooted in racist stereotypes/thoughts of the abject or the "other" But I'm not here to give you a college course about it, google it.

Also being called a "nigger" is a direct threat to my safety, as in past times where I have been called that word I have been beaten up or degraded in other ways. Nigger is a slur, whore is not. Please do not respond to this thread again because it is clear you don't know what you're talking about.

And actually super "my bad" on saying whore isn't a slur when it totally is. That was not very intersectional of me at all, that was dumb as fuck. Got blinded by my blackness for a quick second and forgot I'm also a woman and a sex worker. Sorry everyone.

No need to be sorry, you didn't know. I just thought it'd be better to let you know. :)

I'm sorry you have to deal with racist assholes. I wish I could say they aren't common on cam sites, but they are. How you deal with race fetishes is entirely up to you. Don't let anyone make you feel you should or shouldn't do shows of any sort. You do whatever you're comfortable with. End of story. (Within the ToS of your particular cam site.)

I can't relate to the racial aspect of this, but I can say that with time on MFC the trolls will go down. Don't react when they say something, just ban/ignore and carry on, people will see that and hopefully be supportive because of your maturity in handling it. My first month was like troll city. For some reason I had tons of people telling me I had ugly tattoos (I think some guy posted me in the lounge) and I had to deal with dozens of people coming in and saying that. If I reacted, it would multiply. Flat out ignoring them pisses them off and then they'll move on to someone reactionary.

SMH at anyone who actually thinks this sort of behavior is acceptable.....

Sometimes MFC will just issue the member a warning, and other times MFC will ban him/her from the site. I think that if they get enough complaints - from different people - about the same troublemaker, they're more likely to ban that member from the site. With me, I can recall there being at least two different incidents where those members were later banned from the site. With both incidents, I had reported them, and other members in my room said they had also reported them for me. So maybe that's what did it...or maybe those troublemakers had been trolling other models' rooms too, and MFC got so many complaints about them.

I remember when MFC models had the option of banning a member for 6 hours or 60 days, so it's awesome that they can now ban permanently. :)

I get requests for ageplay or raceplay everyday unfortunately.
Like most fetish, I don't get either one of those. But I understand why there would be requests for them. "Whore" is commonly used in cam rooms, videos, and plenty of times my models, in playful way.
So while I can see individual models being offending and having every right to ban members who use the word or make theose request, I don't think it is appropriate to for MFC to automatically ban a member.
However, the N word is a special case, and over the top, and hope MFC has a very very low tolerance for it.

Okay I know that you'll perhaps start throwing things at me after this, but I think she's kinda right. Look guys, I don't want to insult anyone, I'm not into that racial stuff. But! People can change thier beliefs about everything, they do change their mind all the time throughout their life. But they seldom change their sexual habbits! This is beyond control. Everyone would judge sadism in the real life but no one judges sadism in the bedroom if it's accepted by everyone involved in the action. If you don't accept racial stuff in your bedroom, what's the problem? Tell them about it and don't make the situation so dramatic. You're so afraid of these race-related things that you sound like those who judge homosexual ppl and try to persuade them into straight.
And again, I'm sorry if this is offensive. I didn't mean to insult anyone. Just want this world to become more tolerant.
And BTW I love it when guys humiliate me during sex.

I can relate to this, as well! My shows are very Asian inspired and I am so happy and proud to be able to share this amazing culture with my viewers (I'm half Asian).

Unfortunately, this will attract people that can be racist. I have people that will come into my room and ask things like, "What kind of Asian are you?" but that is actually better than having, "Ni hao" which is actually better than "Ching chong ping wei pong fook mi fing fong".

Idiots will be idiots and it's best to just ban people that are totally obnoxious and not give into it at all. Don't even let them bother you or let them cause drama in your room. Ban and/or ignore and keep moving on with your show.

Personally, I find that I would never want to use terms like N***** or W**** IRL, so I don't have any wish to use them on MFC either... but that's just me I guess. I understand that there are lots of fetishes and types of roleplay out there which most people will not "get", but I also understand that there will be a place for it between a model and member where both parties are OK with the idea.

As a member, it's always best to ask (politely!) in a tip note if the model would agree to any kind of specialist/fetish play, rather than blurting it out in public chat though... which I think is pretty dumb and will make you look like an offensive tool!
