It's extremely frustrating to consistently find nearly all the content about webcamming being half-assed articles written by those whose primary objective is to feed their affiliate accounts.
Absolutely this.

Too late to edit: that was rude, sorry. I'm going to expand a bit on my thoughts.

It's extremely frustrating to consistently find nearly all the content about webcamming being half-assed articles written by those whose primary objective is to feed their affiliate accounts. I get that you've broadcasted on CB before, which is cool, but it's pretty obvious by your articles and the way you talk on here that you don't really "get" webcamming from a performer's perspective. There's so much crap to wade through for new models curious about camming, and the majority of these websites aren't really adding any insight. Your articles are vague and condescending; you can't tell if they're targeted towards models or customers, and simply state the obvious. The bold "camgirls do not like trolls"... come on, dude. If you're going to build a website designed as a resource, you're neglecting the number one rule of SEO: Content is King. That rule isn't 100% accurate; it has to be quality content. You have to share something new and unique. You actually gave "making yourself look good" as a tip for succeeding as a cam model. I don't think I need to explain why that's just a waste of internet. You're talking down to your audience and it's insulting.

If you don't have anything to add to the conversation, I think it's best you stick to topics you know about, or spend significantly more time doing research. And for the love of god, stop insulting your reader's intelligence.
agree to disagree.

What, pray tell, is the meaning of this? Is this the image you want to project?

I'm not talking about people who are trying to do shows that make them seem underage. I'm talking about the people who just happen to look young for their age, so some turd reports them, and they're banned despite having an ID on file proving that they're of age. It's absolutely ridiculous.
whether it's with or without effort, if you're able to cater to an underage fetish, you're doing something CB obviously wants to play no part in.
I think it's fascinating, since it makes places like MFC the natural go-to sites for guys into underage girls, it's fascinating because if MFC et al. can get away with this stuff and not have any legal fears, it's interesting that CB aren't equally confident. but I don't think it's ridiculous. imagine if some child porn arrest came up in the news and it was reported that amongst all the data n shit was videos and credit card spendings on Chaturbate.com where 'pedos can go to tell young girls what to do' (you know how journalists love to bend the truth) ... publicity they probably don't want.

Article published. Thanks to all that helped with this one :)
So, the answer to the question "How much money can you make on chaturbate?" is:
  • Don't use geoblocking
  • Offer private shows for 6 tokens a minute
  • Make a good title for your room
  • Make your goals really low so "people don't say damn that's a lot and leave your show"
  • Make your tip menu prices real low
  • Get a Lovense
I haven't been this impressed since you pointed out that models could stick their Lush in their butt or their pussy for tokens.

Well done.

Go bother someone else.

Yawn. Yeah, you're so entitled to tell a performer what they're worth. From the goal amounts to pay per minute pricing, it's a complete insult. For starters, you can go fuck yourself for .30 a minute. Fuck off.

The best advice for those interested in camming isn't summed up in one shoddy article. No. The best advice is found in a community of performers with a library of articles and individuals of all backgrounds who have been there and done that.

Simply put. ACF and all that it is. Not your high-school level attempt at "research."

Thanks for your kind words.

I don't sugar coat anything. I'm not a model, but just seeing that bit was outrageous and very telling. Clearly you have no credentials. Or even a hint of a clue as to what would be article-worthy advice.

Also. If the article title is "How much can you make on CB?" Stick to the topic at hand. Instead you go way off-topic and don't even answer the question or the factors that come into play.

I wonder why. Oh yeah. Cause you have no idea what the hell you're talking about.

This person just slams me. Childish. Don't really care what he has to say.

I only saw a proposed summary of your article. I haven't seen your article (so for me that's a kinda helpful post, tells me if something might be worth reading or if I'm missing anything good).

was it inaccurate?

was it inaccurate?
Make sure you have a tip menu. Make your prices very low. Here is a good example of an effective tip menu:

  • 5 tokens – Send PM
  • 11 tokens – Show Ass
  • 16 tokens – Show Pussy
  • 22 tokens – Take off Bra
  • 27 tokens – Take off Panties
  • 35 tokens – Finger Myself for 1 Min
  • 42 tokens – Ride Dildo for 1 Min
Straight from the horse's mouth. Or the bull's rear end, if you prefer...

I wonder, if we stand in front of a webcam and say his website name three times, will it show up in Google search results?

affirms my first impression...
wouldn't surprise me if it was just an effort to get models to undervalue themselves. he's probably a freeloader/stingy tipper who can only get what he wants by trying to get the model to believe they're asking too much. in other words, it's more advice to help himself than to help models. you always get these cheap wannabes preying on new models since everyone else has too much sense to know they're just being exploited for his benefit.

he sounds like exactly what cammers don't need to hear.

when you hire a real estate agent, they work for you, not the buyer, and negotiate up a good price because they get a cut of the total. by contrast, this guy sounds like he's on the buyer's side, trying to screw models, instead of on the model's side trying to help their careers.

on the bright side
, at least he admits these values are "very low", not reasonable/what you're worth/what you can expect to earn for these things/etc.

Yes, and he isn't just name-dropping AmberCutie.com left and right on his little experiment, he's trying to make it look like @Kaci_Kash is on board with his foolishness. If I still had a twitter account I would tweet and see if she knows.
