Hi all,

As I had mentioned in a post a while back we are looking at "potentially" deploying a new physical product into the cam market. At the moment we are trying to get the lay of the land before deciding to jump in with both feet.

The current intent is to target the clients of independent models off of MFC/CB/etc however at a meeting yesterday a larger commercial operator popped up on the radar... Streamate.
Being a bit of a nub to the whole industry, would it be fair to classify Streamate as a different product/clientele compared to MFC/CB/etc?

Anyone with an opinion on that comment?

Streamate doesn't allow XXX shows in free chat (no pussy or asshole or dildo play). All that type thing is supposed to be done only for paying customers in a private or gold (goal-based private show). There is a lot of focus on 1 on 1 or group shows that everyone has to pay to see.

CB and MFC are mostly tip-based with performers doing things out in the open for everyone for tokens instead of private 1 on 1 or private paying viewer only goal shows.

SM is a completely different animal to MFC and CB. Like @melanieoncam said, it's a private based site. Everything explicit that happens on SM happens behind the privates curtain, aka paid chat. MFC and CB are, more often than not, public shows where models will do flashes of below the belt nudity and full on cumshows. Comparing a token site to a private based site is like apples to oranges, honestly. You also get very different clientele. Some token guys hate private based sites, and vice versa.
